The Hunts Force performs many duties, including hunting, contests and guild defense. Members of the team will dedicate themselves to classes, hunts, events and tournaments, and defense training. Any ranger may join the ranks regardless of level, class or skill level. Members will be expected to participate in sponsored events and encouraged to host or lead them.
Hunts are the lifeblood of the team. They can be based on anything and for any reason, whether it be for fame, gold or experience. All skill levels will be represented and all manner of beast will be hunted. Team members will be expected to take part in hunts and will be encouraged to lead them. Classes will be offered to help rangers improve their skills and learn new ones. All types of subjects will be offered from fighting styles to mapping techniques to noncombat skills such as herbalism or weaponsmithing. Team members are encouraged to attend any of these classes and are asked to teach one and share their knowledge. Events will be sponsored by the hunts force that promote teamwork, knowledge gathering and creativity. Included in these events are scavenger hunts, archery contests and hide-and-seek type games. Participation is expected and hosting is encouraged. Defense of the Redwood is a high priority of the Hunts Force. Among the duties of the team are devising tactics, leading defense teams and combat training. Sessions of combat training will occur regularly in the arena and will help hone the guild into a fighting force to be reckoned with. Other tasks for the team will include gathering intelligence to add to the bestiary of creatures and the catalog of maps that will be accessible by all rangers. Hopefully this sharing of knowledge will encourage rangers to explore and add to the database. Those on the team will dedicate themselves to teaching and attending classes, leading and participating in guild hunts, hosting and participating in events and tournaments and training for and executing tactics for the defense of the Redwood |
