I am Areille, once a shy, and quiet wood elf from a loving family who I will seek out.. someday. I walked these lands over a 100 years ago.. til my death. Worcester, Elantara, Kyria an more served the heavans.. and Syrai served as guildmistress to the likes of Sorton, Montalin,Caligula the drive by spellcaster.. the Squirrel boy..Snazzle. the mud pie.. Cbr..Allegro.. Damsie, Moonwise..and my mentor.. Archangelo.. and sooo many other wonderful rangers. I served the Lady Kyria.. and mentored in the guild... I fell in love .. and married Allegro, Elantara performed our wedding under the waterfall near the guild. We had wonderful years together.. til he vanished, without a word. I tried so hard to carry on, but there was no life without him it seemed. Falan, who was my dearest friend, spent many hours with me, talking and listening. But in the end.. there was only emptiness. I took what items an gold I had and left them for the guild. A place I loved so much, but where the halls echoed with his laughter.. I had meant only to slip into the forests and live quietly alone.. serving those in need and nothing more, I had no need of gold, or items. One stormy, cold night.. I found myself sitting on the cliffs in Frostfall, watching the waves crash against the stones and listening to the wind howl in between the cliffs. It was mesmorizing.. and oddly comforting. That is my last memory. I awoke in a warm bubbling pool in Frostfall.. naked and quite changed it seemed. I am what most would call a sea elf I suppose, but I think I am somewhere between what I was, and what you see now. I remember a voice calling me to wake,over and over it called.. it was time,to reawaken. So.. my eyes opened... Yet, I have no idea who it was that beckoned me or even why. These will become clear in the passage of time I suspect. |
